1994: It all started as young teens and a father passionate about golf. Dave was the father of a lot of would be golfers. Dave is a proud veteran and golfed in his spare time with his wife and buddies any time he had a spare minute. This evolved into taking his kids out one by one or sometimes all together to get the taste of the most rewarding, yet frustrating sport man has ever created. He always taught his kids keep your lead arm straight, and "KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN!!" Needless to say we all wanted the taste of glory and lifted our head to watch a gloriously missed shot. As time went on we all learned the cardinal rule. "HEAD Down!!".
2024: (30 years in the making) Dave has amassed a very large family. Kids DJ, Edee, Josh, Larry, Ashley, Ted, Nicole, Zach, Chris | Lots and LOTS of grand kids! Dave still teaches his children, grand children, his wife of 45 years and even scratch golfers on the courses he plays. February 2024, Dave was diagnosed with lung cancer. Through treatment in Salt Lake City Utah, he seems to be in remission and enjoying life as he said " Like a 75 year old kid" His strength and devotion to life, golf, and family, has lead his kids/family/students to conceive the HEAD UP!! Foundation to help further the research and hopefully cure for lung cancer. Join us today in the fight!!
